INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS 

Your new grille vents come to you with a protective liner. Do not remove liner until installation is complete. 

ITEMS INCLUDED:     1-Stainless Trunk Wall Insert     2-Self Tapping Screws

Your new covers come to you with a protective liner. Do not remove liner until installation is complete.

1. Temporarily remove the spare tire. Insert the new trunk wall and check its overall shape and position. Although your new panel comes to you pre-formed it may be necessary to form by hand in order to achieve a nice contoured fit. PLEASE NOTE: You may have to position the new panel several times before you get it to fit just right so please be patient.
    

2. Once you have achieved a nice contoured fit you may fasten the panel in position by installing the two self tapping screws provided in the two small holes at the upper left and right corners of the new panel. A screw gun will work best but be careful NOT TO OVER TIGHTEN as this will distort the panel and strip the fiberglass of the trunk you are fastening it to. Another way to install this is to pre drill a 9/64^th pilot hole at the two locations and install the screws by hand using a #2 Philips head screw driver.
    

3. Remove protective liner.

Note: Care must be taken when cleaning your stainless. It is a good idea to lightly dust your stainless with a clean soft cloth first in order to prevent any particles from scratching it. Then wipe (using a new clean soft cloth) with a good quality streak free glass cleaner. It is also a good idea to add a light coat of wax such as a quick spray wax.
